Subject: Province Council Briefing

My Brothers:

As you prepare to arrive in Kansas City this week for our 80th Province Council Meeting I've prepared a briefing to assist with your preparation.

The following activity has been added to the schedule of events:

On Thursday evening a 9 p.m., the Kansas City Alumni Chapter will host a "Get Acquainted/Networking Social" at Club Occasions located at 7502 Troost Ave. in Kansas City, Missouri. If you need additional details, contact Brother Curtis Lewis at 816-225-4299.

The 80th Province Council meeting is coming together very well, and we are poised to break a couple of records. Preregisteration has exceeded 260 and we may be well on our way to 300+ in attendance - we are out of rooms at the Downtown Marriott. The overflow facility is The Hotel Phillips located at 106 West 12th Street (one block east of the Marriott). The phone number is 816-221-7000 and the Kappa rate is $89 per night.

In addition; we are scheduled to initiate around 80 new members, our previous record was 65.

With respect to dress: red jacket, red tie, white shirt, and black or cream pants. We are asking all that can to dress this way for Friday only (The Business Session and the Public Meeting) we will take our first group photo during both the business session on Friday and the public meeting. For any further information on dress, refer to page 9 of your March/April Confidential Bulletin.

Also while you are at it, take a look at page 7 of the Confidential Bulletin - Chapters Delinquent in 75th Grand Chapter Registration. Congratulations, my brothers!

We are planning to strictly adhere to our published schedule. We will start meetings and events on time and finish on schedule. The Hotel will need to prepare for the next event as soon as the other ends so if we press for brothers to exit a particular room from time to time, don't take it personal, just take is outside - Thanks.

Last, Chapters will need to forward your list of brothers who have joined the Chapter Invisible to Brother Morgan ASAP.

I want to thank the members of the Kansas City Alumni Chapter for their assistance in making this a record breaking Council meeting. What a celebration this will be on the heels of our success in Cleveland. If You Didn't Come To Party - I'll leave it at that.

Yours in the Bond,

Adolphus M. Pruitt, II
