Subject: REGISTRATION for the 87th Province Council Brothers, The 87th Middle Western Province Council will be held in St. Louis on March 26-29, 2009. The schedule of registration rates was announced at the C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference in Kansas City on the morning of September 20th. The rates and deadlines are as follows:
During a discussion that followed the announcement of the registration rates that morning, and in response to a question posed by the Polemarch of St. Louis Alumni Chapter, Brother Kevin Triggs, we said that we would present an attractive "option" for the Early-Bird Registration rate later that afternoon during a presentation by the Province Keeper of Records & Exchequer which was scheduled as the last item on the day's agenda. That was my job and I neglected to add it to my pre-printed talking points, an oversight on my part for which I am responsible. On September 19th, in accordance with our Province Bylaws, and thanks to the benevolence of our Province Polemarch, a majority of the Executive Committee approved a proposal that was presented to the Province Polemarch during the prior week that will allow there to be an "option" for those who may choose to "lock in" the Early-Bird Registration rate with a non-refundable and non-transferable payment of at least $50 received by the province on or before December 19th. The FULL BALANCE of the Early-Bird rate must then be received by the province on or before February 5th. We hope this "option" will inspire the vast majority of those who plan to attend the Province Council to take advantage of the Early-Bird Registration rate, even if you may only be able to do so with a minimum payment of $50. It is important that we have a good estimate of expected attendance by December 19th so that our Province Council Planning Committee Chairman, Brother Clayton Evans, may be positioned to provide the Province Polemarch and the host chapters with the best information in preparation for the Province Council.
