Subject: Middle Western Province Achievement Brothers, We are proud to announce that as of January 8, 2009, we became the FIRST province of Kappa Alpha Psi to have 100% of our chapters enrolled as members of the Kappa Alpha Psi Federal Credit Union. This was no easy feat, but our Province Polemarch's vision of 100% chapter participation in our Credit Union became one of his highest priorities during the last month. This latest achievement by our province follows other "firsts" with respect to the Credit Union. Thanks to the leadership of our Province Polemarch, we were the FIRST province to open an account with the Credit Union in 2005. And, fulfilling the Province Polemarch's dream that was proposed at our last Province Council, the delegates approved his proposal for us to become the FIRST province in which every new initiate (on and after October 1, 2008) is enrolled in the Credit Union. We fully expect that our chapters will avail themselves of the opportunity to expand their accounts with the Credit Union through additional deposits from their savings accounts and other chapter investments that are being maintained elsewhere. If each chapter deposited at least ten percent of their available "set-aside" funds in our Credit Union, the result would be of mutual benefit to the Credit Union AND the chapter.
